  • Why Consider All-on-4® Dental Implants?

All-on-4® dental implants are a stable, long-term solution for replacing missing or severely damaged teeth. Compared to traditional dentures, they provide greater support, a more natural appearance, and improved function—allowing for stronger biting forces and a more nutritious diet. Implants also help prevent premature bone loss, may help prevent gum recession, and a sagging facial appearance.

With proper care, All-on-4® implants can last 25 years or more. The trademarked surgical protocol uses a technique that avoids or reduces the need for bone grafting. While All-on-4® involves higher upfront and maintenance costs than dentures, it offers significant functional and aesthetic benefits.

During your consultation, we’ll assess your needs and recommend the most suitable treatment option for your smile and budget.

    Why Consider All-on-4® Dental Implants?
  • All-on-4® Treatment Process

    • Your journey begins with a consultation, a 3D CBCT scan, x-rays, and a full assessment to plan treatment and costs. We discuss your sedation options, such as sleep dentistry and you'll also choose your tooth shape and shade with our lab technician.
    • During surgery, any remaining teeth are removed and four or more dental implants are placed, with bone grafting if needed. Healing caps are fitted and digital impressions taken for your new teeth.
    • Within days, you’ll try in a wax model for adjustments before your final teeth are fitted by day five.
    • Follow-ups at 4 weeks and 3 months check your healing, speech, and bite.
    • To maintain your smile, attend check-ups and cleans every 6–12 months, with x-rays every 12–24 months to monitor implant and bone health.

  • All-on-4® Teeth After Surgery

Every dental clinic approaches All-on-4® treatment differently. The type of implants and prosthetic teeth used in All-on-4® treatment can vary in quality, affecting their price, durability and treatment outcomes.

At our practice, we use a single-stage approach to your All-on-4® teeth. We fit a titanium-reinforced acrylic bridge just days after your surgery. The titanium is digitally-milled to precision and is laid underneath high-quality acrylic teeth.

This first bridge is designed to last 2 to 5 years (however in some cases can last longer with proper care) before needing a replacement. Using a titanium-reinforced acrylic bridge aids healing of your implants, is more affordable than the two-bridge approach that some implant dentists use, and can last much longer than a bridge that is made of 100% acrylic and intended to be worn temporarily.

  • All-on-4® Bridge Replacements

When it’s time for a new bridge, you can choose to have it made from the same durable acrylic material, or you may opt to upgrade to zirconia or porcelain-layered zirconia for a more refined, natural-looking result. Zirconia bridges typically last between 10 to 15 years with proper care.

    • Remodel an existing bridge - This is where we replace the acrylic and teeth over the original titanium frame
    • Replacement titanium-acrylic bridge - A new titanium-reinforced acrylic bridge with a visible polished frame that's easier to clean
    • Monolithic titanium-zirconia bridge - An aesthetic and durable replacement bridge option (available after implants have healed from surgery)
    • Porcelain-layered zirconia bridge - Titanium-reinforced zirconia that has been layered with porcelain for transluncency and character

  • All-on-4® Bridge Maintenance & Repairs

All-on-4® surgery is not a set-and-forget treatment. As a significant investment in your oral health, it requires lifelong commitment to good oral hygiene.  It's important to consider the overall costs including ongoing maintenance, bridge replacements and repairs.

    • Maintenance & x-rays - This includes brushing twice daily, flossing once a day (or using a water flosser), attending regular check-ups and cleans, and having x-rays every 12–24 months to monitor implant health.
    • Replacements - Between 2 to 5 years after surgery, your bridge will need to be replaced. The most cost-effective option is to remodel your existing bridge from $5,500, or you may choose to replace your acrylic bridge or upgrade to a premium option like zirconia.
    • Repairs - It's important to factor in bridge repairs into the total cost of All-on-4® treatment which may range between $350 to $650.
