Dentists qualify initially as General Dentists, however, some decide to complete further studies, programmes and qualifications in specific areas of dentistry to build upon their skills and experience. If a patient presents to us with specific needs we cannot immediately meet, rather than agreeing to treat them, we will refer them to a trusted dentist who can treat them.
Dental implant consults and complex wisdom teeth removal are referred onto other dentists. Similarly, for treatment under intravenous (IV) sedation, we also refer patients onto our sister clinics to be treated by a a qualified GP anaesthetist, as these clinics are set up for sedation.

If your treatment is more complex or lengthy, we may refer you to our sister practice, EVP Dental for IV sedation, or arrange for your treatment to take place at Southbank Day Surgery under general anaesthesia.
